The iconic architecture of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) stands proudly on the waterfront of Hong Kong’s world-famous Victoria Harbour. It places the Centre right at the heart of the city, within the Central Business District. Visitor can walk to the HKCEC from the MTR Wanchai Station or Wanchai ferry pire within 10 minutes; or you can also select the suggested routes below: 


MTR ( is the main public transportation in the urban area. 


The fastest way to get to downtown is via the Airport Express Line (AEL). To reach Wan Chai MTR Station, you may choose the fastest route - Airport → Hong Kong Station → Central Station → Wan Chai Station . The HKCEC Airport Express Passengers can now enjoy an added privilege - a free airport express shuttle bus from the HKCEC to the Hong Kong Station. The bus stop is located at the HKCEC's Harbour Road Entrance.
Apart from the Airport Express Line, the current train system comprises 9 lines - Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong Island, Tung Chung, Tseung Kwan O, East Rail, West Rail, Ma On Shan and Disneyland Resort Lines. You can reach HKCEC by getting off at Wan Chai Station (Exit A-1).

By Taxis

The starting rate for Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Taxi is HK$22. Each additional 200 meters will cost HK$1.6. Tunnel or bridge tolls (HK$ 3 - HK$ 55) will be added to the amount on the meter. When using any of the three cross-harbour tunnels, you will expect to pay an extra of HK$10 - HK$55. There may also be additional charges for the luggage carried in the boot.
